The NBA season is three weeks away but fans don’t have to wait that long to see Kobe tear the roof off the Staples Center. EA Sports releases NBA Live 10, which was given a nice overhaul over last seasons offering. A new career mode, awesome crowds and stadiums with improved dribbling and passing engines, it’s definitely a sweet upgrade.

The most anticipated game this week did not disappoint. Bret Favre led the Minnesota Vikings to a 30-23 victory in what was the most watched program in cable television history (nearly 22 million viewers). It was as grueling as any divisional game can get, with the crowd cheering their hometown team into their fourth straight season victory (4-0). Bret Favre also became the only player in NFL history to defeat all 32 teams.
